Picked this up from Ironlion's great blog but as he is "semi" boycotting Lion's Den, here is the scoop. Come back fully Iron - we love you and your graphics! lmubasketball.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.htmlD.J. Peterson Shooting Guard SCOUTS GRADE 86 Hometown Minneapolis, MN , Hopkins High School 6'5"Height, 180 lbs Position Rank 95 May, 2009: Peterson is a left handed wing with good skill. He is a good athlete as well. Peterson can run the lane or rebound and push the ball in transition. He can drive from the wings and can also be a point forward and run the offense. Peterson can make open shots with time off the catch. Both mid range and threes went down for him. He is a good ball handler that can get to the rim but at times he had trouble beating intense pressure. Peterson has great size and can pass over or around defenders with ease. Peterson is a multiple position defender because of his excellent size and length. What makes Peterson so valuable is versatility. He has excellent potential. April, 2009: Peterson had a solid weekend (Jayhawk Invitational) as he came up big in the team's upset of the Atlanta Celtics. He is a skilled wing with a good handle who played a lot of point guard for his team. He is a little reckless with the ball when he slashes to the basket, but when he stays balanced he seems to be better at distributing the ball and hitting the open jumpers. He uses his size and above average quickness to his advantage off the dribble. This left-hander also knocked down his 3-point shots. Now for that big man!

DJ is "considering" Baylor and Green Bay Phoenix - go figure. We should rate over Green Bay and Baylor doesn't show up with DJ on the list according to ESPN.
DJ might be a find for LMU. Considering Baylor is a good sign.

A shooter with height is something we might end up needing badly very soon.
