Would UCLA play the CIT?? Now THAT would be an interesting game. Something tells me that Ben Howland would make his team play in the "Dust Bowl" just like Max Good

Just glad to hear that we are not in the dust bowl! Is that in Vegas? Or Death Valley?

Ummmmm I just realized that the next LMU game is on St. Paddy's Day........ I cannot even begin to imagine the mayhem. And I wish I was there to experience because that's my birthday.

Note to Julia Pine I got my call from the athletic office today offering tickets to my season seat for the first tournament game on Weds, March 17. I, of course, bought the ticket for $25 plus $5 handling. The office also indicated a second game in Gersten is possible on March 22 (Monday) and they would automatically charge me for that game as well but would refund the price if there is not a second game. A Gersten game is not yet certain so they will not charge my credit card until Monday when the full seedings and opponents are known. They did not say what tournament we are in but it is not the Dust Bowl. Go Lions!

Hopefully students really come out and support the team. The St. Pat's combo could work nicely. With those steep ticket prices and relative obscurity of this tournament I don't think a lot of seats on the other half of the pavilion will be rocking.

I hope the athletics dept is working on some sort of "Luck of the Lions" promotion. It would be great to have Gersten rocking.

The reserved seats are $25 (normally $20), and student seats $5. Not too much of price disparity from normal ticket pricing. For the first post season in 20 years - I would expect a seriously rowdy, supportive, full house turnout.
I'll be there with bells on! How much more could you ask - Post Season on St. Paddy's day? Oh, it's great to be Irish.

Oh, it's great to be Irish. Not to mention a very very drunk group of happy Catholics celebrating a saint. OH I WISH I COULD BE THERE!!!!!!!!!!! I would love to see people rocking those St. Paddy's Day LMU shirts. I just REALLY hope the other team doesn't sport green as a school color. That would SUCK.
