If, a big "if" since it has not been officially declared, Patson does leave, I believe he would be losing his junior year and would only have one year of eligibility remaining. That is a shame for his development. Hope he stays!

Patson Siame is an interesting case. He came in a year late to go to Prep School. Then when he was here he had to fix eligibility issues for academics. His birth date listed says born in 1993 which means he'll be turning 22. This would be essentially equivalent to a senior season, but then have another one after until he is age 23. That's not ancient by any means but I could see him either transferring to make one really good year, or even turning professional, maybe in Europe. I always saw him as a 2-3 year player here anyways.
It all depends on his mindset, his family situation and what he seems himself as in the future. He is still a project big man, however. Three years at the LMU campus and he still hasn't shown a ton of development. I feel like he still carries that "potential" but if he bombs this year or isn't developed by Dunlap, then he can officially declared a bust. I mean, he was pegged to be a program-changing recruit.
I sure hope he stays, however. I was waiting for him to the anchor of our zone defense.
