Deng Adel, 6’7”, 190, SF – Class of 2015
Scouts Grade 80 – 4-star Ranked #10 in the state of Florida
Victory Rock Prep, Bradenton, Florida
Per ESPN, Deng has offers from Florida, Georgia Tech, Louisville, USC and Virginia Tech
ESPN Analyst Updated 04/28/2014
Strengths: Adel is a long lean combination forward with good touch from the mid range areas and can hit an open three when his feet are set. He also has a nice feel when he post smaller defenders. Adel also excels on the fast break where he can get to the rim and finish. He handles the ball well and plays with great energy and urgency on both ends. A true live body.
Weaknesses: Adel must add strength and continue to develop his skills and continue to gain valuable playing experience to take his game to the next level.
Bottom Line: Adel is a fast developing forward that can make plays in transition and from a variety of mid range areas in the halfcourt set. He plays extremely hard and competes throughout the game. He has tremendous upside as well.
Note the scouting report is very recent.
