Well Lions fans, the latest that I know is that another International has committed/signed (I'll hold off in names) and he is 6'6-7 and can play between 2-3 and 4 at times.

I'll take the one on the right if he can bring his knife.
That New York City scene with the knife is my all time favorite movie scene.

Magic 8 Ball says, "All signs point to Marko Deric, the original Perth Australian." Having a second go at it!

T - I think Marco is 6'8" so he is too tall (6'6"-6' 7") for the parameters of TheRecruiter.
In any case, given we are beyond the "signing period" will future announcements not say "signed" by LMU, or "committed" or what?

90045, my hypothesized answer to your question is option 3 - or what. Seems to me Dunlap likes stealth, particularly for international players. My guess is we'll learn about the additional newcomers when school starts in August and the new complete roster is published. In fact, unless there are signings which haven't yet been announced, I don't think LMU can say anything until the newcomer is in school.

In fact, unless there are signings which haven't yet been announced, I don't think LMU can say anything until the newcomer is in school. Way to excite the fan base. All of the pre-season media guides are basically written in July-August, so if his goal is for everyone to ignore LMU, then he's doing a great job. If it's against the rules to mention them, then obviously he gets a pass. Stealth is a silly idea when your program is so far off the map Google couldn't even find it. If that's the case, his expectations for this season are to wait until next season, essentially. You need to hype up your team if you want a chance to go to a post-season tournament like the NIT or something. Yawn, just another typical LMU season like the last, and the last. I'm more interested in this season as a day of reckoning for LMU athletics. It's the 25th anniversary season since Hank Gather's passing. 25 years since were were last relevant....

SLB,
I understand disappointment. I too wish we knew more. But that is for my reading pleasure. It has nothing to do with winning or preparing to win. And, I'm confident that the school can say nothing officially unless signed to an LOI or enrolled. Otherwise, it's an NCAA violation. That is why it is the kid, high school or AAU coach who is always making these announcements for their own reasons.
Finally, with all due respect nothing written by anyone in any publication in July or August is going to get a team in post season play. Only winning will do so. And, as I believe your last comment acknowledges, winning is what's necessary to really excite this fan base. Hype is like empty calories. You just get fat and unhappy. I want the real meal - winning!
