The game was "back and forth" for the first 36 minutes then for a critical couple of minutes it was "all back and almost no forth"; except for that critical 2-3 minutes it was a decent effort and another great game to watch. Other than that bit of in depth analysis, I also add: may have been a bit too much Hayes, who struggled offensively all evening, and not enough Humphries. Patson continued to expand his contributions. and where was Deji's offence? Evan had a terrific first half; at the half the Bronc's must have noticed his 15 points and and decided to play him much closer in the second half.
USD made me sort of a chump by not only winning but beating the spread. The Toreros now rise to 500 on the season, which is close to the overall standard for Coach Grier. At assuming say a generous 15 wins per season, that comes out to costing USD something north of $40,000 a win.
