I was surprised at the turnover of their roster - lots of new faces to meld together. And they don't seem to have a dominant big man so we might match up well.
Their home record, however, is beyond question.
Go Lions.

Jahii Carson really messed up by not coming back. I don't know what information these guys receive but its sad. If he comes back, ASU is probably a top 5 Pac-12 team with Arizona, Utah, UCLA, Stanford.

Guarddad, how is Matt's shoulder? He's a tough young man?

I didn't mean to add a ? at the end of my last sentence. It was a statement: He is a tough young man.

Matt says he fine, is little sore, that's what happens when you get your shoulder knocked out of socket. He says he getting himself ready for ASU on Thursday Ice, stimulation as much rest as possible. Matt will be a fine point guard under Dunlap. And since my identity has been revealed to some on this forum, I'll bit farewell.
GO LIONS!!!

Guarddad - no need to opt out now. Some of us figured it out early on. We appreciate your insight. I, for one, have been looking forward to Matt's play. I hope the arm heals quickly. While I missed the Boise game I understand Matt did a good job of directing traffic. I'm hoping he can find a shooting touch. We need some scoring from his spot on the floor.

LOL!!!! I can't reveal what comes out of the Lions camp, in actually I only know bits here and there, that's why I say "don't quote me".
That's part of the reason Matt didn't shoot or was more aggressive offensively last night was because of his shoulder, the other part and don't quote me, I feel is Coach is still experimenting. My opinion only. I felt Matt did ok considering he was hurt.
GO LIONS!!

guarddad - please stay with us - we've had parents on the board before and they make valuable contributions. I would encourage you not to write an essay comparing Matt to a previous top players as some previous parents have done; I don't think you would do that anyway but it did happen.
I suspected Dunlap told his guys, some of whom had a tough night shooting vs SEMO, not to put the ball up from outside. Fans at the game were virtually shouting "take the shot" but it wasn't happening. I don't blame the players for this but the absence of a scoring threat from the perimeter put too much pressure on our inside play and the Broncos figured that out.
Matt has a great shot and I want to see him shooting more, as I do Deji and David as well. Hopefully, Dunlap with re-adjust his strategy for the next game. This part of the season is the time for learning on the court.
By the way, I was surprised that Matt reentered the game after his shoulder injury! Wow! To quote someone, he is "a tough young man."
