Recruit Elijah Stewart is getting good minutes (17 per game) and is still looking for his scoring touch – he is a good all-around player to be reckoned with in the future. The Trojans have some sizable front line players and their guards can score – so the Lions will have their hands full against another athletic team on an away court. Gametime: Wednesday, Dec 3, 7 pm at Galen Center TV: Pac 12 Network

New Mexico is a bit short handed but usc just beat them at the pit. Wednesday is going to be a battle.

Good for USC and he Lions. It will enhance the quality of a Lions win. And, with the trending improvement, I expect a Lions victory on Wednesday. UCI much better than USC.

I expect the Lions to be underdogs again on Wednesday. If for no other reason, we have to play on USC's court.
Look for the Trojans to put big guard (6'6") Reinhardt on Evan all evening. He guarded UNM's scoring guard Greenwood today and held him to 0-11 shooting and zero points. In the process, Reinhardt, one of USC's guns, himself was 0-8 and also did not score.
USC's forwards came up big scoring 26 points in the paint with 31 boards.
Stewart tossed in 11 in 19 minutes shooting 50% including 3's.
Look for a tough contest to start this character-building 6 game road swing before WCC conference play begins at the end of December vs our favorite opponent - the Waves - at home on Dec 29.
Go Lions!

I see usc putting Jacobs or Stewart on Evan. Evan would run circles around Reinhardt. Jordan mchaulin will be a tough match up for LMU.

Vegas Insider opened with the Lions as 7 1/2 point underdogs. Sagarin says 7 3/4.
Ripe for an upset as we pull it all together.

I like how you think oldest! Vegas hasn't been wrong much so far but perhaps its time to recalibrate the Lions?

If a couple of key players perform like they did against UCI, the Lions can win.
It'll be interesting to see how well Coach can get the guys to focus.

Let's say I hypothetically dropped 300 dollars of fake money at USC - 9 and half. I would love to see Payne be ultra aggressive getting to the line and would love to see Siame a ton.

If it's play money, might as well make it $500 but, watch your limit.

Consensus is now down to 5 1/2. Vegas Insidser must be reading our posts.

A Lion victory tonight is more than possible and I was getting interested inventing some of my play money stash at 9.5 but at 5.5 I don't know. Think I'll just root for total victory without a monetary commitment.
Good night for BB watching. Preceding our game past opponent Az State is 6.5 favorite to beat UNLV and past coach Max (UNLV assistant). Later, on ESPN 2 we can catch the last half of future opponent Wichita State, a 3.5 underdog at Utah; I may risk some of my fake money on that one.
