The Lions travel to wintry Flagstaff Arizona for this contest, which should favor the Lions (maybe). Perhaps they can include a brief side trip to the Grand Canyon? (Not to jump off in the worst-case outcome of the contest, of course.)
In their latest contest vs UTSA before the Lions game, Dixon led NAU with 31 points shooting 9-19 from three – of course, we know how to shut down the 3-point shot – followed by Upshur with 17, who shot 4-15 including 1-11 from 3-point range. All in all, NAU took 41 shots from 3-point range – there is a message there (hello coach Dunlap). Junior forward Martin 6’7” 210 forward led in rebounding with 10. We should be able to control him.
