Nice to see Devin Wyatt get some meaningful minutes and play well.

Dunlap has the guys playing beautifully as a team- everyone contributing. I hope Evan buys into this - he's our closer!

Great! Coach Mike broke the WCC ice, first of many more conference wins I hope. Well lets see, Monar and Deji combined for 43 points. That's the key part of the story. We have been waiting for Deji to come into his own for 5 years; he played like he was in Hawaii where he also went over 20. Marin has been getting stronger every game. Now Gonzaga will have to keep them in mind plus they better not forget about Evan.
Hard to imagine but Portland couldn't match OUR speed and quickness; we needed to capitalize on that rare situation and we did. The nation's #3 team however, is obviously not going to have such a problem. But Mike does have the 2-3 humming so our defense won't be completely at the mercy of their inside goons (I mean players). Despite the probable absence of Patson, Saturday afternoon is shaping up to be much more interesting than before this win. GO LIONS

The Zags barely beat the Waves tonight - one basket game. I suspect Coach Few will have his guys fired up on Saturday.

Very pleased with the victory! Enjoyable to watch from beginning to end.
I love the fact that tonight we were in control, had a 5-minute hiccup that cut the lead from 44-30 to 49-48, but then we weathered the storm and answered with a 13-0 run. Nothing better than winning soundly after being challenged. Let's hope this can carry over.
Noticed Petr and Simon were on the bench. Looked like Petr was in uniform, but couldn't tell about Simon. Any word on either? Great to see Matt shoot, but he had a lot of trouble handling the pressure. When Chase is out, I'm almost thinking we need Evan at point and Hayes has the 2-guard.
Go Lions!

Solid win. Dunlap is obviously a legit in game coach. As advertised. I pray that he can recruit and evalute though. We're clearly all in with him. Also "The Zags barely beat the Waves tonight" barely. Peperdine is good. Straight up. Makes me through up in my mouth. We need to get an impact point obviosly. Props to Money Mornar. Clearly that kid is working hard to get better.

Woo-hoo…free pre-game beer, in the parking lot, and a cathartic victory too! Since it was hat day yesterday, I tip my Pork pie to the autocratic Mike Dunlap; he sure played tremendous defense on Evan Payne last night. Gut Gonzaga!

Incredible shooting percentage from the 3, from the field and from the FT line. Lions were hot and Pilots were ice cold.

any word on Patson? Is he on crutches or did he just tweak something and needs rest?
