Wow! No Deji or Evan. Unexpected. I'm ready for our second half rally! And our Maginot Line defense is working well! Husky you picked a good game to miss. BTW I got a flu shot and still got sick with flu-like symptoms.

They all looked very tired to me all through the game must of had a hard week of training it seemed like they couldnt change gear in the first half.

Losing by 32 has to be demoralizing to every Lions fan. It is to me. My fear is this may be a preview of what we May get next season - I hope I'm wrong.

Eh, we were missing arguably our two best players...I'm not going to worry about this one too much...I am disappointed our steady improvement has severely fallen off though...Let's hope everyone gets healthy by WCC tournament time

Yep, if I had to miss one that was definitely the one to miss. On Tv looked like there were even fewer students than usual, perhaps they got word that neither Deji nor Evan were suiting up. Could have been projecting, but it seemed the team almost expected to lose from the beginning. Deji's re-injury was not big surprise but news of Evan's knee was.
I thought they reported the knee was swollen to the size of a softball. Hope it's not a ruptured Bursa Sac, I'm no doctor but it happened to me once. Not serious may not respond to simply draining and can cause additional swelling and soreness down through the leg. Mine took about a month to completely diffuse; I wasn't a young man but I also wasn't taxing it by playing basketball. So lets hope it was a simpler bruise and he is back open for business tomorrow or not later than the tournament.

Has anyone thought that Evan's knee has been bothering him for weeks and his minutes have been down trying to rest it as much as possible. Evan plays hard all the time, couldn't you tell his explosiveness hasn't been there all the time. He picks the times he wants to throw caution to the wind and go harder. It finally caught up with him. Let's just hope he gets better by the WCC Tournament. Simon, Deji, Josh, Matt, Patson, David all of these guys have or had injuries throughout the year.... By the way it's a mini break for the students this week so a lot of students left campus.
GO LIONS!!

Looks like some of Max Good's luck with injuries has carried over to the new regime. I really hadn't noticed a chronic knee condition with Evan, I was comfortable ascribing his bench time to the coaches thickheadedness. If I had it wrong, I'am glad; we would like him to stick around another couple of years.

Evan plays a very physical style of basketball. His explosion etc, must put a lot of wear on those knees a la Derrick Rose. He needs to learn how pick his spots.

Turn the page on this one for sure. Let's just take care of business Saturday.
I watched the game on TV. Where was Wyatt? Also, at the end of the game why did neither team empty their bench? Don't we have walk-ons in uniform? We don't need Mornar or anyone rolling an ankle down by 27.
Is there bad blood between Walters and Dunlap? USF was trying to throw alley-oops at the end....very odd.
