He is the #1 problem. Go away. Get out. Never set foot on campus again. #FIREHUSAK

I haven't posted for a year. I gave Dunlap a free pass since he came in at rock bottom. The way he was brought in was comical and borderline illegal. Bill Husak seriously should be walked out to Manchester Avenue and never welcomed back. He made the critically wrong decision twice. A person was practically begging for the job who was all class, a winner, and could have restored the roar, and this clown@$!#pieceofsh*tathletic director looked the other way. He should seriously never be allowed to set foot on campus. If there was anyone with balls at LMU, being President, director of students (i.e. Lane Bove) they would tell Husak to "@$!# off" in no short order and rid themselves of the AIDS/Cancer his regime has brought.

If there was a proper coaching search Turner should have been the top candidate. I was surprised he was not scooped up by a pac 12 program last year. Turner and staff know the importance of recruiting and have done an amazing job...especially in southern California.
Unless he was offered a handsome salary not sure he would have even take the lmu job.

I'd like to edit your post. NEXT YEAR will be rock bottom. This is an 8-win team that loses its best player, probably loses its third most talented player and only true big man, and their first guy off the bench. Honestly, over/under 5 win team next year? Dunlap, as people forget, was promised this job before last February. Since there was no coaching search really and Husak just pulled this out his phone book, then I have no idea why it's not safe to say that these are Dunlap's recruits and his vision into play. If LMU finishes as a 5-25 team and another last place finish, I'm not sure why he can't be held accountable. What people forget is that at least Tension took us within a lay-up of the tournament. Bayno gave us recruits to last four years. Good gave us a 20-win season and a CIT match-up with wins over teams led by future NBA players. Thus far, Dunlap has been hot garbage. I was on campus this week with the alumni association and discovered that President interviews are happening as we converse. Hopefully whomever is selected as the next President cleans house, hires a New AD by the end of April so that they put Dunlap in his place before summer arrives. Would like nothing more to see than Dunlap coaching on a hot seat.

Only one observation to add slb, As I recall, Tension's first year talent was almost all left over from Aggers.

You're wasting your time. Husak will be the AD until he retires. Every hiring has been with the approval of everyone above him.
Dunlap's contract is too long to be bought out right now. Hardly anyone in the WCC buys out coaches contracts. It's not that kind of league. My guess is he'll outlast Husak.
As for Turner, you're dreaming. He's in a weaker league and doing fine. He wasn't interested in a slight upgrade move to start over after he's put in four years to build his program up to where it is now. Besides, he interviewed with much bigger programs than us last year. He'll move on to greener pastures either this year or next.
As a side note, did you see him at the game in Gersten? He's a real screamer.

Folks are kidding themselves if they think the next president will focus on athletics anytime soon. Recall, that was what folks said when Burcham was hired? Spiritofloyola is correct.
In terms of next season, we lost the top 5 of our top 6 scorers: Payne, Mornar (assumption here), Egbeyemi, Godwin, Siame who collectively represented 50.6 ppg - 81% of our team scoring of 62.2 ppg.
Dunlap will need a great recruiting season, or deliver currently unexpected player development, to do better next season.
