The Broncos lost to Pacific in overtime 72-73, to Gonzaga by 2 points, to Arizona by 2 points in OT and to Riverside and Irvine. They have wins over Portland, San Diego and Pepperdine.
Brownridge is their man leading from his guard spot assisted by Freshman guard Feagin. Inside its 6’8” 227 Junior Nate Kratch, who has won WCC player of the week honors this season. Ndumanya is a big body but doesn’t look too productive.
Next is a crew of four players averaging about 5 ppg. The Broncos also are a relatively young team, with only one Senior on the roster (and not a factor).
Broncos are coming off a high with their win over Pepperdine Thursday on a last second 3 by (who else) Brownridge.
The Lions may employ a strategy similar to that of the USF game – just replace Watson with Brownridge.
Gametime: Saturday, January 16, 8 pm at Santa Clara.
TV: ROOT NW, TheW.tv (ugh!), Lions website.
Lets hope the video feed is better than Thursday’s.
