We stayed within 30, which is better than I thought. Was very surprised how poor our effort was in boxing out and how bad our pick and roll defense was, guards weren't fighting over the screens and help side defense was out of position all night. They forced us into a zone which always makes rebounding tough, especially when undersized and you don't put bodies on people. Pleasantly surprised about scoring over 60 points, that's hard to do vs a defense like gonzagas when you have 0 outside shooting threats.

I heard about the 12.5 point spread shortly before game time and tried very hard to get in a bet through my I Phone to no avail; maybe the sites crashed with the volume of Gonzaga wagers (who would have included me in their number). Damn.
Anyway whomever set that 12.5 line is undoubtedly wearing his new cement shoes at the bottom of Lake Mead.

The margin would've been bigger if Coach Few hadn't emptied his bench. Jacko had a nice game (again) and Hermann actually showed some life. After that? Well, there's not much to say.
CMD is now 1/3 of the way through his second half of the league schedule. When exactly do the Lions begin to be competitive?
It's hard for our guys to match up against Sabonis and Wiltjer. I get that. But how many times did Gonzaga guards have unfettered access to their driving lanes? Horrible defense all game long.
