Herman showing promise - more aggression on offense. Tutu is no AI on the end of the half play. Lions doing OK considering our best guy is on the bench.

Johnson and Herman showing some improvement
Haney back on the milk carton
Humphries doing nothing as usual
Brown is a disappointment.
Offense lookings terrible and other team lighting us up from 3...Pretty standard.
How many days until next season?

We sure cannot keep anyone off the 3 point line; a real puzzle given that we have a head coach that is " universally recognized as one of the very top Div. 1 coaches in the Nation" this from tonight's commentators. (He must slip them a copy of his resume along with a Franklin or two).
Isn't Monar close to being our all time shot blocker; he was second, how close is he now? (Something to cheer)
Haney no points, again. Ditto Speirs.
No signature win tonight but we still have an outside chance to beat the spread.

Without Jacko it is very apparent that the Lions are a one tricky pony. Good defensive effort- Mornar and Shamar stepped up. SMC looks like a completely different team than that played at Gersten.

Not a pretty game, but the Lions deserve credit for battling back and almost making it a game. I suppose you can put this one into the "character building" category.

We beat the spread w/o Jacko - great coaching.

well I couldn't say exactly great. More "in spite of, than because of". I mean until the last 90 seconds we were still messing around for over 30 seconds each offensive possession. Not that our coach isn't great or anything.

Just watched the game. In the second half, after the first 6 minutes, there was a sense of urgency among the players that wasn't there the first 26 minutes. They played hard until the end and the effort was great. I really liked McClendon again, he just kind of makes things happen, he also strong enough and a good enough rebounder to play SF. There was a couple minute stretch where brown looked really good too, but his shot just wasn't falling. Herman played better, tutu with a solid all around game, once again he just forces the issue a little too often.
I think our best line up that game was brown, tutu, McClendon, Johnson, and mornar.

Extremely poor point play again. Brown is out of it. What a disappointment. The offensive set does nothing to open our 3 shooters, and Humpheries, what with that guy?
