Update: there is now an LMU basketball podcast, hosted by Jesse Kass, who does play by play for the game stream, called "Bleav In LMU Basketball". First episode is with JD, who is now an assistant coach with the Pistons.
I like Jesse's commentary, so I'm looking forward to subscribing.

JD? Our old point guard who went to Utah? Yes. He was also honored at the Pepperdine game.

Nice he’s finding a career in coaching. Wonder if he can recruit at the college level?

He left on pretty unhappy terms. I was friendly with him back in the day, and he was pretty sick of/felt unsupported by the coaching staff. Hopefully he feels a bit better toward the school with hindsight.

He wanted to play point guard over a fellow named Ireland.

He wanted to play point guard over a fellow named Ireland. I recall that. Didn't exactly relish the "opportunity" to come off the bench behind Ron and Ant. The lineup of Ant, JD, Ron, Viney and Ash was our most talented 5-man group of the decade.

Any discussion of the program is great so I appreciate Jesse making it happen. Not sure how many people will listen to it outside of those that check this blog though. It's good getting some recent alumni back and talking about their experiences. Would really enjoy getting Pintens on there soon.
