the List of 25 implies it is all Dunlap’s fault. Bogus.
Doran moved voluntarily., as 4 years in his Position was the Limit. Dixon moved voluntarily, getting a job in Utah with a start up company in human performance. Worthington went back to Australia to save his Marriage and keep his Family together.
Stewart’s aau guy pulled him away from LMU when dunlap wouldn’t pay the back half of the money deal made with the previous head coach. Spiers had a solid career at cal state san marcos, proving he was a d2 talent all along. Hayes couldn’t crack the Top 11. Tutu left to go back to Canada where he had a solid season last year, playing in an American d2/3 level League. Jacko left after 1 successful year because he didn’t like school and wanted to make money. Manuel left Oregon and LMU for his own reasons. He was not recruited by any other d1 schools after LMU. SImmons and Causwell left because there weren’t playing options ahead of them. Douglas and Alipiev are Better Players and Younger.

Making up stuff about Payne is complete bullsh*t. Let’s meet in person I would love to see who you are...maybe you are just a coward who hides behind a screen name. I would love to see how you are related to Dunlap. Maybe we can chat about the real story behind Jacko leaving.

Saying Payne left due to CMD not completing the money deal made by Coach Good is quite the claim to make... I only ever heard rumors that we paid Elijah Stewart for his commitment, but emphasis on the word RUMOR.
Jacko going pro seemed like a good decision for him. In my opinion he was not going to be an NBA draft pick, maybe staying another year would have gotten him a roster spot on a summer league team, but last i checked he was doing pretty well in Europe so good for him. Also have a hard time believing he hated the school, given that he has come back and visited with the team/attended games.
I would really like to think that nobody on this board would make up accusations (like Payne leaving because he didn't get paid) as there is nothing to gain from it. Especially because nobody can disprove that claim (Payne could have very well taken money without any of us knowing about it, regardless of what any of us were told by people), which is why that is such a dangerous accusation to make.

You are 100% correct. It was Stewart and not Payne. I apologize to Payne and his supporters. He and Dunlap were Oil and Water. Payne played more at LB State but had similar issues with Coach Monson.

Jacko Hated School. He did not Hate LMU or the Campus. Big Difference.

I’m not sure what happen after Coach Good left but I can assure %100 nothing was offered to Elijah Stewart by the previous staff. Stewart was a under the radar kid with no offers - Coach T saw him play and Coach Good offered him the same week. By the time Coach Good’s contract was not renewed Elijah was top 100 espn kid and the vultures were circling- Tony Bland from USC for one who just pled guilty to FBI for one. If a AAU coach asked for money for a player Coach Good would tell them to go @$!# themselves.

Isn't it an NCAA violation to provide personal housing to a player who has mono?

The problem with your revisionist history, iron lion, is that on December 20, 2013, stewart signed a letter of intent with LMU. Again, this was because the front half of the payment had been made by the previous Head coach to stewart’s aau representative. Being re rated had nothing to do with stewart walking away from his commitment to LMU. dunlap released him. USC scooped him up.

100 false - recruits back out of loi’s all the time after a coaching change. Kyron cartwright for one. The reason Stewart backed out was because he didn’t like Dunlap who only talked about himself for the entire in home visit. Tell yourself whatever you want but you’re credibility on this board is zero. I have been a fan for 22 years and will still be here when you are long gone.

I doubt that there was money for anyone from LMU. Stewart and Cartwright had very good senior seasons in high school and recruiters were trying to recruit them (illegally) even before Good was fired. That firing gave both young men and their parents an excuse to ask for a release from their letter of intent, so the two players could go to more high-powered programs. Since neither wanted to play at LMU, Dunlap really had no choice but to release them. The same thing happened to Max Good when a player (name ?) signed by Bill Bayno asked and received his release from LMU after Bayno left. Also, LMU benefited from the same situation with Jared Dubois, who got a release from SMU so he could sign with LMU and Bayno.
I think hootevers summarized the departures very well (except for the money thing). I might also add that the transfers of Siame and Payne shouldn't be surprising because they couldn't get along with coaches at their new schools, and, in fact, neither finished his basketball career at his new school.
