Lang 6.0 gousfbulls.com/cumestats.aspx?path=mbball&The Bulls play in a tough conference which includes Cincinnati, Houston, Memphis, UConn and Wichita State, among others, so their record may be a bit misleading. USF also played in the early-on Jamaica Classic which the Lions won. The Bulls lost to Georgetown in that event. Perhaps it is fitting that the Lions finally meet the Bulls now in the CBI tourney. Unlike Brown, the Bulls have some size inside (two 7 footers) but their roster seems loaded with guards. The Bulls were 16-5 at home this season, so expect a tough matchup. Gametime: Thursday, Mar 28 at 4 pm in Tampa. Video: Bullsvision gousfbulls.com/watch/?Live=180&type=Live (Link also available on LMU website.)

Yetna was the AAC Freshman of the Year. My understanding is that he plays like Yoeli Childs of BYU, and we did a good job of slowing him down in both games this season so hopefully we can work our defensive magic again tonight.

Both defences working, both offences not working. New game at half.

Good energy, but we (and they) look out of sorts on offense. Glad we're tied at half, but we could easily be up a handful if we had just keep the early stop start momentum going.
We win this half we're in the final to bring home our first ever post season silverware. Pretty exciting!

Agreed! Great season overall. Some quality wins and some bad losses (pepp x2 ouch).
A lot of pieces that will be around next year. Look forward to seeing Joe take over as the #1 next year (Loved his development this year). Dameane is going to be a stud (if he adds a consistent outside shot look out). Eli and Z will keep being beasts around the hoop. Mattias has been better each year and will be even more dominant next year. Erik can shoot and need to keep him involved in the offense.
Thanks for great careers to Jeff, James, Petr! Great leaders on and off the court, look forward to seeing their next steps.
Coach needs to have confidence in his players. He needs to stick to a gameplan and let his players play. The constant threat of being subbed after a mistake hurts development and players play tight.
Great season and thanks to the players and coaches!
Go Lions!
