Thanks fanblade for the USF Dons' schedule. These WCC schedules so far do not look that strong.

Thanks fanblade for the SMC schedule link. Looks as if SMC has the strongest WCC schedule released thus far.

I like USD's schedule. Interesting how many home games SMC is pulling in.

USD schedule is not bad: Kentucky, USC, Nevada, UNLV, SDSU. SMC and USD schedules are much stronger than the other WCC schedules that have been released thus far.

USD's Seems Pretty comparable to ours at least for what you have listed. Kentucky - Mississippi State, UNLV - BYU, Nevada - New Mexico. and we also have SDSU. I would definately give there's the nod, but it doesnt seem too much stronger than ours.
and SMC's matches up about the same way:
Oregon - Mississippi State, Fullerton-Irvine,
Road So Illinois - BYU, Texas - (??), Fresno State-UCSB
Neutral Sites San Diego St. Georgia-New Mexico
Again, i give them a slight nod especially on the road at TX, but it doesnt seem like their Non Con is head and shoulders above us either. But i guess in the end what really matters is who can come away with wins in the non conference

Checking out some of the other team's boards, it is interesting to see the lack of respect this young lions group is getting. Although I guess i understand if you are just looking statistically at what we have lost. But I am really excited about this group and think we can really get some good stuff done. I cant wait til that first exhibition and some of the other teams in the league get some games under thier belts. Then we can hopefully really get a feel for what the league season might look like.

I don't blame them for having low expectation from us. When you look at whom we've lost, you can't help but think this is going to be a rebuilding year. I hope we attract enough freshmen to the game...I believe we need to install that sense of school pride in their first year, we need to brainwash them

LMU's comments are right on. Freshman students NEED to be at the games. The freshman class need to grow with this time. Before the Class of 2011 graduation, I am firmly confident that LMU will be dancing in the NCAA tourney. Students need to believe. It will happen IF the team gets support of the fans and students. It is all about attendance that will propell this team to more wins this year.
Those on this board know that I am ALL about ATTENDANCE and getting the administration to find creative ideas to draw upon the student population and the local community for greater support.

We've got the entire WCC with schedules out now. Basketball season is right around the corner.
lionspride, I went and merged my post with yours.
Zags schedule is good, balanced between the difficult RPI boosts like Memphis and the guaranteed wins like UCR. Looks like our game against them at LA will be on FSN too.
