Completely off topic, but speaking of the High Dive event, isn't there a problem when a Catholic university has chicken wings, chicken fingers, and pepperoni pizza catered on a Friday in Lent? I found that kind of amusing. Glad I was not the only one looking for the fish at the High Dive. They could have had the fried calameri, right? That is a "bar food" type appetizer.

Heck, even baconless potato skins could have sufficed.
The whole event though had a strange feeling to it. Last year, with it being in that Portland art gallery, it had more of a hopeful feel to it (except when that guy jumped on my shoulders and made me carry him around the room). This year's seemed more of a "well, while we're here, let's get drunk and get it over with." No Husak speech, and only one person with a "go lions" cheer. Seems like something's going down.

How do you guys think we'll fair if 3 teams make it into the NCAAs. For some resaon I am not feeling like any will get past round one.
I was high on SMC early this season but injuries and a lot of down momentum makes me wonder if they peaked too soon.
Gonzaga, well....
I do not see USD realistically scoring an upset but out of all three they would be the ones.

You underestimate the strength up top. I'm going on the record to say 2 out of 3 make it past game 1. If the WCC gets 3 in, which I still doubt. The players and coaches will get up enough not be embarrass the conference by wrecking a historic opportunity.
