We've now broken the 20-loss season mark. Dismal is putting things lightly. Interesting read. I am concerned about what Husak is saying. He earlier mentioned that he and the athletic department would be making necessary changes to help get the program on track. But I have yet to hear him mention what sort of changes. His quote to LAT this time around. "I really believe a way to go ahead and establish a solid program is not to make coaching changes drastically or frequently," Husak said. "I think Rodney Tention is a great fit for our institution and a good coach who will only get better and better, and we are prepared to grow with him." Is his idea of change, non-change or inaction? I agree with the strategy but that isn't a change! I want to know what Husak is going to do about changing the resources being funneled to the program and changes to its ability to operate. So far I have heard/read/seen nothing. Anyone know anything?

If he does not make a move, then Husak better be looking for a job. The alumni will not continue to purchase season tickets and the Lionsfund if this type of LOSING is accepted. I will again write to Lawton and be more pointed in asking for WHY a 25 loss season does not equate to firing the coach. If the coach does not get let go, then the AD HAS A BIG PROBLEM. HUSAK CANNOT MANAGE A BASKETBALL PROGRAM. He cannot handle the pressure to make a decision. Letting a problem fester by making NO ACTION is not a decision. I have talked with a couple of men's basketball player parents and they ARE EXTREMELY UPSET. The coaching staff takes NO RESPONSIBILITY. It seems as if there is no belief by the players that they can win under Rodney in his current system. Hearing this tonight makes me want to directly ask for Rodney to be fired.
