What a poor showing by the Lions. No offensive flow, thanks in part to the horriable refs. With Worthy not contributing we aren't going that far. On the bright side, it was nice to see Doh hit some out side shots, and see Deadwiler in the game. I think he is going to be a great player.

A really dissapointing showing. Miller is looking really good out there but sadly it takes more than that, most notably Worthy! I hope we can come back strong against Sam Houston.

I was at the game tonight (Section 119, 9th row - behind the LMU bench). We outnumbered the Trojan fans in attendance this evening and the sections above us and to the left of us were FILLED with Lions fans. This was one ugly game. 17 turnovers by our boys in the 1st half  , lousy rebounding, horrible officiating and next-to-no outside shooting. To sum it up - we looked bad out there in that 2nd half. Although I wish the result of the game were in our favor, there was some great dialogue going on between the ROAR group and the platry USC student section (which numbered around 30). The atmosphere around us was lively. We'll regroup and get ready for our next game. Go Lions! |

I know the FSN coverage had a few lingering shots on just a dozen of USC students. I figure they were the only trojans in the entire building.
Happy to hear that the lions side was lively, too bad we didn't have much to cheer about! While FSN didn't give many shots of the LMU fans (but they spent a good 10 seconds on a sleeping UCLA man) I heard some great lion cheers in the background. ;D

Did Marko Deric start in place of Deric Grubb? DG plays only 5 minutes in this game...
Our offense stinks. We need to work on eliminating turnoever and improving outside shooting. We can't establish any flow to the game if we just keep turning the ball over.

Do the USC cheerleaders just lay on the floor all game mouthing inaudible slurs. Check this site out to see usc cheerleader song girl cheer for the wrong team AGAIN. Not helping the stereotype. |
