The missed shot and heart break-Chris Ayer finally breaks his silence. Great interview by Andy Hui on the site now. lmulionsroar.com/?p=1692

It's difficult to rank teams right now. This week should tell us a few things. I've been disappointed that some of the league's supposed better teams got demolished by the Zags. Not just beaten, but beaten badly. It's not that I have anything against the Zags, but the league needs to provide some better competition.
I still think BYU probably has the best chance of challenging Gonzaga. I'm a bit fearful of the bulldozer that could be awaiting our Lions this coming weekend if they don't wake up.
To their credit, the Dons have been playing well. They probably have the best front court in the WCC for challenging Gonzaga. Can they provide the competition that Pacific and St Mary's could not?
The Waves seem to have enough to challenge the rest of the WCC (a pleasant surprise for our Malibu friends) but I don't see them with enough horses to match up with Gonzaga.
Right now, I have to say that it looks like our Lions, the Toreros, the Broncos and maybe the Pilots and Tigers make up the bottom half of the conference. It hurts to say that, but facts are facts.

That is a great article. LaRon has been a favorite of mine all throughout his career. He is a definite role model for under privledged young men and really has his head on straight, as you can see from the interview. He will be successful in his future undertakings and has set his goals in the right direction, in my opinion. Well done LaRon!
Where can I get one of those CDs of the Billikens game?

LaRon is one class act. I've watched him stop and talk to the kids that are at the games. He always has the time to say something to them. I've also watched him spend a lot of time talking to the players. It's too bad we can't sit him on a copier and make a bunch of clones. The world would be a better place.
