Tulsa! Abetemarco was just hired by the Golden Hurricanes. Were we in on Davis when Max was still the coach?

I believe both Jimbo Lull and Jackie Davis were being recruited by previous staff.

Snaked by Ernie Kent, one of Dunlap's former bosses. Bummer.

Not that I'm any expert, I'm not, but I find it interesting that I'd not heard that this young man was a big D1 prospect until after our new coach allegedly made him an offer. Thereafter, public reports began to surface that other schools were interested. This, optimisticly, suggests that Coach Dunlap and his staff have solid local knowledge and connections and keen eyes for discovering overlooked or later developing talent. Not bad for a guy returning from two years in the NBA and on sabattical and before that from a couple of years in NY.

I thought Jackie Davis would be the first Dunlap commit due to the game point aau connections. Davis was being recruited by penn state and Texas A&M before Dunlap offered- he was a bit under recruited but his stock had taken off recently.
