Tough, winnable matchups. Best of luck to those teams. USD has a real challenge and Davidson is streaking.

Drats! After I predict a week ago that USD would have the best chance to advance past the first round, and they have a possible sweet 16 visit in the making I do not reflect that in my brackets. Need to start putting my money where my mouth is.  Congrats to USD. Kept the WCC from scratching. They are shaping up to be the new "class" of the conference. Sort of weird to think about that but Grier could use a Sweet 16 to really build something down there. |

San Diego has everything they need to be the next Gonzaga: location, hot girls, JCP is a solid arena and a surprisingly good coach... I'm envious!

Yep, they have a real good chance of being the new "it" mid-major on the scene. Personally I'd love to see the so cal WCC teams be the class of the conference. It would be very convenient for me to see the hot ticket games if that were the case. ;D
LMU and Pepp have our work to do to catch up.

alert. NOt really sure which posts you are referring to. The majority of posts I have been reading just show dissapointment that the team could not pull off the win. And also some ill thoughts about Mark Few's decisions during the game. I dont see many posts at all saying how good they are. And Gonzaga will never be known as USD north, smarty. Gonzaga has made 11 straight tournament appearances, and a few sweet sixteens and 1 elite eight on the way. Rather than bashing their program because they have been at the top of the WCC for so many years, you should appreciate all they have done for the conference. They have brought good exposure to the conference and are 1 reason that San Diego went out and spent big money on Bill Grier (at the press conference they said the reason they hired Grier was to compete with Gonzaga). I think you are just a little bitter. I have read more feelings of dissapointment than gloating and I am on that board everyday. nice try though.
