The Boise State Broncos are 5-4 but 1-4 away from home. I would love to see the Lions come out and play a strong game start to finish.
Is the student turn out going to be low tonight?
Go Lions !

It would be very good to see a convincing win out of the lions tonight. I'm not sure about the turnout. The women had a lower turnout last night than average but only about 10% if that's any indication.
Go lions!

There will be little to no student turnout as Christmas Break started. Hopefully some kids who live near campus will go and support the Lions.

I will in fact be there. Helps that they're giving local band people free tickets ;D.

>_< DOUBLE OVERTIME AT HOME!!! I hope Worthy isn't seriously hurt, that kid got kicked around so many times on court you had to feel the pain he was in. Ouch, might not make it for next game? And was Ziri hurt too? What a long ass game. Good that we could at least walk away with a win after that warzone.

Yea, I hope worthy is ok. I was shocked he came back in after that guy kicked his spine. Boise was very agressive.

Watching how they handled Worthy, he probably has just a sprain. If it were something serious, they would have had to use some kind of immobilizing brace, and they wouldn't have gone straight for the ice packs.
But, if he is out for a prolonged period, it looks like if Knight and Miller keep up their tears, then we should be in very good shape.

Well that was exhausting. It really is good to get a win after these tough games, it takes a lot of heart. I also don't envy that long drive back to chilly Idaho thinking about those last 10 seconds . What an effort by all those guys out there. Adoyah literally carried the team on his back during the early start with his machine like playing. Really kept us in the game and we finally have a consistent 3pt threat. I just read on the press release that Damo set a school record with 9 steals and he was just working the court. Knight, he stepped up big time. Worthy was also there when we needed him. They all need to pat themselves on the back. These thrillers make for nice memories but my throat can't handle the screaming. Boise was an athletic bunch of guys who really wanted this win... too bad. Our next outing against Long Beach will also be a tough one, we'll need a healthy and spry Worthy but this guy is a machine. Go lions!

Wow. What a game. Three huge shots (Do's 3 to send it to OT, Worthy's runner for double OT, and Monty's floater) to win the game. Not to mention Matty's dominating performance.
But I can't believe no one has brought up Worthy's facial on Karl the Younger. That was definitely the best dunk I've ever seen in person. I'm disappointed the game wasn't at least on cstv, because worthy would have ahd another Sportcenter #1 play if it was. It was that good.

Miller really carried us in the first half. I love his confidence and swagger. It looked like the rest of the team took awhile to realize the game had started. Nice by move by coach to bench the starters to get them motivated. Worthy was having a so so game in the first half but he stepped up to make some big time plays in the second. The steal and dunk on #5 face was on of the best jam bolas I have ever seen in Gersten. I really pray Brandon is okay…anyone who as info please let us know. Knight was a beast in the second. I saw some Lakers brass there scouting him. Then there is Monty, usually I’m very nervous when he has the ball in his hands. But what confidence to take it to the basket and hit the game winner. It was great to see him being lifted by some of the players at the end of the game. All in all it was great to get this win…however it will still be a bitter sweet until we find out Brandon is okay. Go Lions!

That Worthy dunk was definitely a sight to behold. The little section I was in instantaneously jumped up and started going crazy when that happened. Really just incredible stuff. Sadly it was marred by the fact that Brandon had a nasty fall so he really couldn't celebrate such a clutch play. I really hope he recovers well from those bumps and bruises and can enjoy the holidays.
The game had a lot of just entertaining moments. It's a shame these games aren't televised in LA or more people from the community don't come out. Just watching LMU's very "animated" coaching staff is entertaining enough. There is a lot of fun going on in Gersten.

Does anyone know why Ziri did not play?

They just posted a game preview on the athletic site, and it mentioned that Ziri is day-to-day with a concussion. No mention was made of Worthy being injured, which is an extremely good sign.

I really hope Worthy is alright. In the past the web site has not been so forthcoming about injury information.
