Well after a televised horror show on the road to open the conference season the Lions are finally returning back to Gersten.
This will be the first time since smackdownmania began in Ohio that the Lions will be back at home.
It's difficult to gauge how the Lions will do. USF hadn't shown much OOC promise but a convincing win over USD looks good. The Lions on the other hand kept it close with an athletic and surging LBSU at home, Worthyless yet before the Jetta got hit by a Mack Truck.
Even though we are all starting to sound like broken records these guys especially the upperclassmen need to step up to the pressure. The talent in there but the sense of urgency and focus are MIA.
Picking up victories at home are really important to keep the fans excited so we really need this. Tention is going to have to kick some tails into gear.
Go Lions!

During halftime LMU will recognize Loyola University 1960-61 Basketball team. This team won the the first out-right conference championship for LMU (LU). They also beat the waves 3 times during the season.

For those of us that won't be able to make it to the game (like me), it will be broadcasted live on ESPNU.

The Dons non- conference record hasn’t been pretty poor, but I think the will surprise some people in WCC play. Surratt and Wiggins are very talented and Kellogg had a break out game against USD scoring 37 points.
I hope being at home will help the Lions confidence…ever since the loss at the buzzer to Long Beach, things have been pretty bad for us.
Go Lions!

Will open some eyes this game. If LMU bombs again fans will literally be running for the hills. I still have faith !

Dissapointing loss considering we nearly won it before OT began. Martin just couldn't get that ball anywhere near the hoop on our final play.
The many lost points at the free throw line were sorely missing!
Still a small victory that we did not lose a game by 20 @_@ and the Lions kept up the pace. USF did a good job on defense and containing Knight. Aside from Martin's airball at the end he was having a stunning performance.
The Lions didn't look great but looked like should be able to handle USD come MLK day.

LMU "should" be able to handle USD? Ha! What is your logic on that??

LMU "should" be able to handle USD? Ha! What is your logic on that?? LMU for the first time in a long time showed they know how to win. The end result wasn't good but I'm not counting the Lions out. If we can heat the offense up and keep that defensive power we showed against the Dons things will improve greatly. USD hasn't shown enough this early to leave me quaking in my boots. LMU should and will most likely handle the Toreros come Monday. ;D Thanks for stopping by though

It would have been nice to get the win... but I have nothing negative to say about the Lions. They played hard and never gave up. Aside from his last shot in reg Damo played an amazing game. I thought it was great that Corey got to start the game. I think with Ziri back we have a good chance of beating USD.
GO LIONS!
