Here are the 2016 figures for the WCC schools. They were published by SB Nation, who got them from the US Department of Education. All figures are in millions of dollars:
Gonzaga $8.9 BYU $7.0 USF $4.3 USC $4.0 Pacific $3.7 LMU $3.6 USD $3.6 St Mary's $3.5 Portland $3.2 Pepperdine $2.8
I assume all of these include the tuition cost for the 13 scholarships each school usually gives.

PG Marcus Shaver, Jr. (6-2, 180, 3★), the Pilots top scorer is transferring per Verbal Commits. I really don't know how Porter kept his job.

smith is a solid coach. his staff was not well respected by assistants at other schools. wsu worked for raveling, samson and the bennetts. still, it is a tough place to recruit to. usf has moved up from walters during the past 3 seasons. their next hire will be a scrutinized choice by don basketball fans.

For what it's worth, there is online chatter suggesting that assistant Todd Golden is the frontrunner for the Dons job.

Smith is waiting for His Wife to Sign Off on it before He says ‘Yes’. They have an Autistic Son who is their #1 Priority.

Too bad for the Conference that Smith is leaving the conference, he was a great addition. He did a lot in short time. Not sure how Porter kept his job, that's the biggest shock of all.

Rose has had some health issues. I hope he is okay. Looks like BYU may have offered the job to a former Cougars assistant, Mark Pope. Ironically, Pope is the head coach of Utah Valley (guiding them to 25 wins), which is the team that lost to South Florida last night...South Florida, of course, being the team we play on Thursday. www.sltrib.com/sports/byu-cougars/2019/03/26/who-are-candidates/

I suspect BYU will still recruit just fine. It's a particularly unique school, and should continue to draw players as usual. Beginning to think, though, that the WCC is in for a much weaker season through the middle class next year. I'd expect a drop off from USF with the loss of Smith, LMU with the loss of JB5, USD with the loss of everyone. Pepperdine will rise, and I suspect St. Mary's will be stronger in the regular season. I'd be shocked if we post another winning record against the Pac-12, though.

No need to bash him. I think he will do well at a new school - eli is just better at his position.

I'll miss Zafir. He could star in the right situation. Great rebounder and scorer under the hoop. Good luck Zafir.

Our two signed new recruits will be competing for the 3 and 4 slots so maybe Z saw less minutes next season.
