I do think Jonah Antonio from UNLV would give us a legit three-point threat. That has been one of our weaknesses for years and analytically it is necessary to take a lot of 3's these days. I'm not as big a fan of Hardy of UNLV, plays too much hero ball. Although his younger brother is a high-major recruit. Also saw a couple intriguing transfers from USC and Cal.
However, like everyone else I am just speculating at this point.

I did a bit of research on some of the top transfer candidates that were listed and as expected many of them were linked to top 25 schools. For example, both the Ivy guards to Michigan.
I hope we are putting our name out there for top-end guys but who are some realistic candidates that you all think would be a good fit? Is there a chance we can pull someone even if they are in talks with other power 5 schools?

any shot at Jonny Juzang? Local kid, probably being chased by UCLA, USC, San Diego State. Would be a monster grab if we could get him.

Iron mentioned 6’3” Drew Buggs from Hawaii in the transfer portal. I have time on my hands so I looked up this player. He was Hawaii's starting PG last season, started all 30 games averaging 34.9 minutes per game. An average scorer (36% FG, 26% 3Pt, 9.4 ppg) but led the Big West in assists (5.4 apg) for the second straight year. All Big West honorable mention, UH's all time leader in assists in 3 seasons. Hails from Long Beach and is immediately available to play next season. Looks like a nice fit for the Lion’s needs next season.

Jonathn Dos Anjos is transferring. In the portal? Or is there inside info here?

Guess ole Jonny Two Years only gave us one.
Should be one more transfer shoe to drop that I expect.

Guess ole Jonny Two Years only gave us one. In Portuguese "Dos Anjos" means "from Angels"; not "Two Years".

Question: for scholarship players, does their scholarship include funds to travel to and from campus from home? Especially for international players? Or are they using their own dime? I’m guessing the later but don’t really know.

Have to keep in mind that entering the transfer portal doesn’t mean you’re committing to leaving, but that you are considering offers.
Possibility that one or more of the players in the portal could stay depending on how talks/ideas go with Stan.

I know it has been said before but as far as the returners go other than Markusson Douglas and Scott I won't really be hung up on someone leaving. I'm just eager to see some names of who can fill the roster. Bringing back Markusson would be a huge first step but I think it will be tough.

If I were Markusson, I probably would like to see what things are like in a new place or area of the U.S. His Swedish buddy has graduated and the only reason to stay is if he and Coach Johnson really hit it off although that’s not to say he didn’t enjoy his time at LMU.
