Offered 6-3 2-star point guard Cole Anderson, who has roughly a dozen other offers, ranging from Wazzu and USF to Montana.

Nice article. Let's land him to follow in his dad's steps.

I suspect he’s looking to see what kind of product Coach J can put on the floor this coming season. Coach J isn’t wasting any time creating a competitive team right from the get-go. He knows big time recruits want to go to winning programs.

Nice to get an early commitment from a local player.

Anyone seen this kid play? Obviously, there's a huge range in quality of 2 star kids, but I'm surprised we locked up a low recruit so early.

: A video of him working out, also saw a few youtube clips. Kid is a shooter first, but also comfortable with the ball in his hands, looks like a great passer as well. We were only his second offer, but he looks like the type of player who would have had a big spring/summer if AAU ball was being played. You don't get a lot of 6'6" wings who can shoot at LMUs level so I would definitely consider this a good pick up, kid definitely has potential.
Edit: video won't play on the site for me, but if you double click on the twitter post it will open up and play in another tab.

He looks like another Daemon Douglas. Seems pretty strong already with room to grow. Most 2 star ratings mean scouts haven't really focused on the player yet (IMO) and looks like a player that will get more attention in his Senior year. Exciting to have a 2021 signing already!

Yeah, and I don't mean to get too down on a kid this early, more just curious. Jumper looks good, handle is loose. Hopefully he's more Haney than Stover.

To date, he’s been an under-the-radar player with little in the way of talent reports. I found one 3-star rating. He’s got good size and seems to work well with the ball. Stover had size but he was as slow as molasses in winter. This guy looks to have decent speed, but hard to truly assess with limited video. Hopefully, Coach J sees “up and coming “ capability.

I like this pick up a lot. He’s playing at a powerhouse athletic program and seeing good competition all season long. I kept up a bit with the prep season and he had a nice game against Etiwanda earlier this year. I mean just by looking at the kid his body still looks like it has room to grow. He could be 6-8 athletic shooter by the time he’s showing up at the bluff. He’s definitely a summer sleeper. Plus this is great way to reconnect with the region.

Interesting that the analysis focused on his passing and vision. That wasn't exactly the profile that Dunlap typically recruited.
