Found an interesting article. Maybe this would increase the amount of money that can go towards the men's bball program. Gonzaga has steadily risen above us in the US News and World Report rankings as an example that I have personally seen. A good bball program leads to more donors and a better student body.

I hope Lawton and Bove are reading. There is a connection. Lawton himself said that those at LMU deserve to be surrounded by the finest, including the finest collegiate athletics in the nation. Lets see if those words are more than just talk.

From the smc board about Davidson. Who wouldn't bet that Davidson's Undergraduate and Graduate admissions offices are blowing up right now with applications.
"Davidson's board of trustees set up a fund Wednesday to pay for any student wishing to travel from the North Carolina campus to Detroit to see the Wildcats play Wisconsin in the Midwest Regional semifinals. Students will get free bus transportation, two nights lodging and a ticket to Friday's game. Annual tuition at the exclusive, liberal-arts college is just under $41,000 a year. The school also offers free laundry service for students."
