And is Kodye Pugh definitely not returning. I know he was a grad student but with COVID exception could he come back? Or has he said he wasn't....

If Coach brings in a big (or anyone else for that matter), I would strongly doubt it would be a freshman. Unless he’s a Zion Williamson level player, a freshman big isn’t going to help. It needs to be someone older, stronger and a bit more savvy.
But you’re right. Even adding in a decently sized, decently skilled upper classman big, we are still scary small. I know Coach wants to have speed and run. With this team, they will need to REALLY run!

Seems like a lot of depth there if the transfers and freshmen are as advertised

How is the Gary Harris kid?
Any video?
We definitely need a big, unless Stan is going to just be Uber athletic, full of 6’4- 6’8 quick and athletic dudes which frankly at this stage, I’m all for.
Here’s the starting lineup I imagine
Shelton/anderson Marble or quintana Douglass Scott Leapeppe
Depth off the bench. Hoping mayoum is decent and the freshman are all able to contribute. At a school like lmu in the wcc, 3 star freshman usually can contribute day 1.
Is mattias not coming back for sure? I wish lmu would have gotten zacharov who decided to go to cal baptist

Is it just me or is our whole team full of 6’6 dudes and small forwards?

fryer4three it's exactly like Marquette was while Stan was there I’m okay with it as long as he brings in the next Markus Howard. Actually it reminds me of Arkansas and what muss is doing—- lots of athletic rangy guys

Historically, mid-majors get guys who are either rangy and athletic who can attack the rim or guys that can shoot, not rangy athletic guys that can attack the rim and shoot - those guys are top 150 players who end up at top tier programs. Right now we have a roster of 6'6" athletes that aren't the best shooters (30-35% from three), I really hope that we get a big with our last spot, but we really need a shooter to help create space for all of these wings in order for them to thrive. If not, LMU basketball offseason program better consist of shooting, shooting, and more shooting.

One thing that should help 3pt (and overall) shooting% is the fact that we will have 5 weapons on the floor at the same time including a number of guys who can take it to the basketball off the dribble. Guys like Joe Q and Ivan will have more opportunities with their feet set (which should lead to higher shooting %) because defenders are going to have to be dealing with a BUNCH of driving/cutting/dunking teammates putting all sorts of pressure on the D. This team will come at opponents in WAVES on the offensive end. We should be very quick and active on D too. And yes, we need to get a big with our last skolly. I am sure Stan know this and it's just a matter of time. Go Lions.
