Not sure how the game will play out; and I am biased as a California based Pilot fan.
The Pilot's (and Pepper dine) are probably better than California conference fans give them credit for. Pilots lost to Wash State without Cooper by 12, and played Notre Dame close to even for almost 3 quarters.
I think this team is well coached and at a minimum works hard to stay with every opponent for the entire game.

Could be right. UP and Pepp are bad but shouldn't be underestimated. The lions have also been in freefall mode and have yet to bottom since the Long Beach heartbreak.
Hopefully we'll win in Portland and get pumped for Gersten play later on next week.
Go Lions!

I don't think Tention will let this game get out of hand like the 2nd half against the zags. Craig, Miller, and Knight will take care of the purple pilots.

What an absoute putrid effort by the Lions in the 1st half. No enthusiasm, no communication on the court, lousy defense. I hope Tention kicks some tail in the locker room at halftime. I'm disgusted to see an effort like this from my school. Horrible.

ROCK BOTTOM! The worst basketball I have seen since the Charles Bradley era. The players don't deserve to wear the LMU jerseys. I'm going go put my head in a vice grip. ;D Pathetic.

I think the time has come that Worthy has to take the whole team aside and chew them out for essentially giving up. You'd think that a team at this school of all places would know that losing a player doesn't completely ruin a season. I just pray that this is more a case of road fatigue than anything, because if this is still over Worthy being out, then they might as well hand in their jerseys and go home.

Wow... really expected more of a game... Agreed on the previous comment about leadership; that seemed to be lacking for LMU tonight. Big time. Good luck from here on out... I really like watching the Lions play. So this is what it feels like to not be in 7th or 8th place... GO PILOTS!

Well this is certainly the time for the Pilots to celebrate. I think the lack of leadership has a lot to do with these past crushing losses. With the lack of confidence, trust, and communication there is going to be some major issues. Tention really needs to get on these kids as the wheels have fallen off long ago (I spot them back next to the New Jersey Turnpike). Worthy was an incredible asset to the team but in no way was his early departure a set up for these past blowouts. Some teams just become runaway trains, falling knives, Titanics of a generation. I wish I could grasp for some positive other than these lopsided smackdowns have all been away. Let's turn it around in Los Angeles. So the new "battle at the bottom" is Pepp and LMU be still my heart. Who saw this coming a month ago.

Word is that Ziri has been suspended for next game because of a "fight" over a loose ball. Utter BS.

Word is that Ziri has been suspended for next game because of a "fight" over a loose ball. Utter BS. Agreed. Hopefully the brief time-off will give JZ some focus. He needs to step up his game and be more of a leader on the court (being an upperclassman and all).
