Good luck to Milwaukee and Coach Dunlap in the NBA Finals.
Pete Newell just missed being an executive with the Lakers when they won the title in 1972. And of course, Westhead won a title BEFORE coming to LMU with the Lakers in 1980. And Adelman twice guided Portland to the finals, but lost.
However, I cannot find any instance of a FORMER LMU player or coach having won an NBA ring.
Can anyone think of a person (player, head coach, assistant coach) that I am overlooking?

Challenge accepted! Richard Petruska played at LMU for one season 1990-1991 and won with the Rockets in the 1993-1994 season. And for a little cherry on top: “His only NBA season also saw him as part of an NBA championship team, which resulted in him accidentally dropping and denting the team's first Larry O'Brien Championship Trophy during the celebration of the title.” en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Petruška
