SDSU has a very strong program lead by Steve Fisher of the Fab Five fame and infamy. They have two very talented transfers Mohamed Abukar (Florida) and Lorezno Wade (Louisville) and All-American candidate Brandon Heath.
I’m interested to see how we play after a week of rest. We will need a stellar offensive game, and very few turn overs, to beat the Aztecs. If the whole team plays well and we can step on D we have a good chance.

The lions will have to be using all cylinders for this game. So far we haven't done too well when we are pitted against a strong opponent. This will be eye opening.

LL, don't mention that pub crawl.
The lions were expected to go down big and that is that happened. It's really unfortunate how many stupefying calls were made. Regardless, the Aztecs did a good job and our poor shooting doomed us. Especially bad night for Ziri, happy that Miller found his mojo towards the end at least.
I'm also glad that we didn't give up at the end and stayed with it, closing the gap from 21-6 within moments! It would be a huge mistake to underestimate these lions.
