90045, I know you like your bigs. Mitchell Saxon finally filled out this year, he may be a problem for us inside.

Agree. Issanza may match up OK but Graham and Leaupepe will be challenged.

Saxon is a quality player. This is going to be tough. We have to hit threes and hope the Gaels don’t

I've noted that Sniper has struggled as a starter in recent games. To put a number on that, he is 3-18 in the recent 4 games, including 0-4 versus the Dons. I believe Anderson is the better player but he does like the ball in his hands as does Shelton. If the coach wants to keep Anderson on the bench at the start so as to bring in a "spark" off the bench and to give some relief ball handling with Shelton, maybe Marble should get a shot a starting in lieu of Stephens? He plays decent defense and is a good rebounder for a guard. He has a high basketball IQ also. Bringing in Sniper off the bench worked well earlier this year and maybe that's his proper roll at this point in his career? Just ruminating on a (rare)non-rainy day. Sniper will have a great career here at LMU in any case.

Lions are 13 point underdogs on the road in Moraga with the game on a major cable channel. Would be a good evening to shine, or just cover the spread.

Issanza with 3 TOs in the first 3 minutes - hopefully Graham can show up today.

They are picking Issanza apart in the pick n roll, this is not his game...

Not competitive whatsoever. Embarassing loss for the program

I understand that CSJ wants better facilities, and he's not wrong. But SMC has a HS gym, yet Coach Bennett has built a perennial winner.
We were never in this one tonight.

Another note, it's looking like another season without postseason play.
We lose a lot of production next season (Ahrens, Shelton, Keli).
We're left with Jalin, Merk, Issanza and Graham as Seniors. As it stands that doesn't inspire confidence.
Chance and Lamaj are our only Freshman and Sophomores who get playing time.
We have to hit the transfer portal HARD.

St Mary’s was established in over 10 years ago when they found Patty Mills, Mathew Dellavadova and Sanham. They found the market advantage which was Australia. When you get one or three elite players into your program it just is like a magnet and then throw in Bennet being a good coach and great fan base and you have something. Stan, but sorry the LMU kids are not coming to the games in LA to see mediocre basketball. Moraga, maybe because there’s nothing else to do. UCLA football can’t even draw fans. Movie theatres are empty. I hear that LMU Greek life isn’t what it used to be. It’s a tough sakes draw with no star. They need like a Catholic Deion Sanders to drop out of the sky.

A push in Moraga to the 11th best team in the country. St. Mary’s is the class of the WCC this year.
Lighten up
