Non-conference schedules are starting to get released.
We know LMU is playing in the Cayman Island 11/19-11/21 opening against Stephen F. Austin.
Central Arkansas (finished 2nd from the bottom in ASUN conference last year) released their schedule: UCA vs LMU @ Gersten 11/29

I wonder how we'll shake out with our schedule this year.
Will High Majors want to schedule a Lions team that has oscillated between a good major team providing a test for a solid win and a potential for a bad loss the last couple years?

Very weak home OOC schedule. That’s what happens when you’re a relative nobody yet beat two Top20 teams. No one good wants to come to Gersten. Can’t blame them but it’s frustrating.

Dragged back to the Dunlap method. One theoretical positive outcome - our name carries more weight than previous years, and we clean up that weak OOC schedule, leading pundits to assume we're a strong team again. |

We pretty much need to sweep the OOC schedule. With the heavy preponderance of weak no-name teams, any slip up will really hurt the reputation. And there’s little opportunity for recovery.

I think the schedule is harder than it looks. It's all about RPI or NET rankings (not names). Real Time RPI projects Yale at 63, SF Austin at 129, Nevada at 31, UNLV at 93, UCSB at 96, Potential Cayman opponents Utah State at 16 and Drake at 33. Our LMU squad projects at 113. One thing I noticed is we play very few true road games but have lots of neutral site games. Below is a breakdown of NCAA quadrant system (based on NET).
Quadrant 1: Home 1-30, Neutral 1-50, Away 1-75.
Quadrant 2: Home 31-75, Neutral 51-100, Away 76-135.
Quadrant 3: Home 76-160, Neutral 101-200, Away 135-240.
Quadrant 4: Home 161-353, Neutral 201-353, Away 241-353.
Our league is going to be pretty strong at the top (top 5 or 6 teams) and pretty weak at the bottom.
