lmu - who would you sit to open the game: Alex or Keli (or Lars)?

Lmu2015 - funny, my thought was that Wright might ride to become “the guy.” Hill and Wright had very similar stat lines but I thought Wright was the stronger player. We’ll see how things pan out over the next couple weeks. Harris, with his natural talent, SHOULD be “the guy” but I don’t Andy super happy with his performance last night.

90045 - I’m not necessarily advocating a 3-guard line-up. But I think Lars and Kelli starting with Alex coming off the bench is the best option. Lars and Kelli can provide sustained performance, while Alex seems to go in spurts. And high performance spurts is what you need coming off the bench in crucial moments.

I would agree with Alex coming off the bench - Alex, Keli, and Lars/Graham all on the floor together didn't look great in my opinion. McBride also made a lot of good things happen when he was in there, would love to see him crack the rotation but going to be tough.

I think our best lineup was Hill, Harris, Merkviladze, Leaupepe, Thiemann. They were long and lengthy and could shoot the ball all around. I am interested to see how Coach Johnson brings the best out of his most talented players and establishes a rotation. The talent is here, the coaching needs to match. Harris seemed to be a little caged up, he really pops off the page with his shooting ability, speed, and cadence. I think there was no real scheme to take advantage of Keli's and Alex's skillset. To me Wright surely shot hunted and has black hole potential. I would love him as our sixth man.
