I have no problem with you switching the boat, that's your call. But don't come here claiming generations of lions loyalty and yet wishing the zags win over the lions. Ain't gonna work here, ain't gonna work anywhere in the world. This is a principle matter.

and you have been to every game home game the past 15 years? I may root for the zags to beat LMU when they play but the fact is i am sure I have been loyal to LMU basketball longer than you have. so take that sh*t back where it came from

it is obvious that the basketball program has to change and Zags fan is right that it has to start with the Athletic Director. Take for example, UofHawaii A.D. Herman Frazier. Upon failure to keep June Jones on board he had been fired from his position because of his lack of judgment. the point that I am trying to get at is that the athletic director is suppose to elevate the sports programs and keep it in the competition not out. As of right now we need to fire Husak as A.D. we have the money to spare and we need to get someone in who knows how to play his cards right. Lets not let the newly renovated Gersten Pavillion go to waste. It becomes a problem when the commentator has to call O.J. a "one man army".....
zags fan has been a fan for 15 years, and at least points out a legitimate problem that needs to be fixed with the program. By you bashing him for his remarks and calling him a traitor, you are not being loyal to the program because not only do you refuse to accept the faults of the program, but you bash someone who does. He is simply pointing out what needs to be corrected, and you are trying to see everything through rose colored glasses. Being disloyal to a program does not consist of 1 time throughout a year rooting for another team. Being LOYAL to a program however consists of pointing out what is right and wrong about a program and then advocating for change to fix the problems. and lastly.... I don't see how zags fan is a traitor..... he is a fan of a team that has the motivation and drive to win accompanied with the support of an athletic director who is hungry for his sports teams to do well.

a bandwagon fan at ten years old? That is when I started becoming a zags fan. I dont think I knew what bandwagon meant when I was 10. And my family does have a long history. My dad has had season tickets forover 30 years and attended LMu and my grandpa would attend the games too now, but he has passed away. keep trying Lmu. you make no sense.

it could be worse. i could be a pepperdine fan. but my point being still. i have been supporting LMU longer than you, and have been to more LMU games as an lmu fans than you have, so i dont think you have much of an argument other than that I am a zags fan. So what? Im sorry they play in the same league and you dont like them. IF all was fair, the Zags would be removed from the WCC in basketball and then everything would be ok with me liking the zags according to you

Looks like we have some board members echoing my thoughts....  It took a while, but I guess when you are a week away from having a 25 loss season a reality people start to get a sense of how bad our program is. TIME FOR TENTION to exit the campus. And I hope Husak is gone as well because it is ridiculous that he has let this go on. Husak better make a decision for a firing or he may be facing some strong words from the boosters and Lawton. It looks like the "POLL" from "Should he stay or should he go" be unlocked are started a fresh at season's end. Sorry Dead3man, but you were DEAD wrong. Freedom of Speech rules in America. |
