The Broncos are playing a worthy schedule. They have wins over Stanford, Oregon, Washington State and Duquesne. Their 6 losses are Ohio State, Cal, New Mexico, Utah State, San Jose State and Yale - all good teams.
Tall guards (6’5”, 6’6” and 6’7”) lead their scoring along with 6’10” Forward O’Neill and 7’0” Center Tilly. Recently, Yale handled them on the Broncos home court. I expect Yale to appear in the Big Dance.
I also expect the Lions will start their WCC league play on the wrong foot unless a miracle happens!

Thiemann has bricks for hands. He’s a terrible post player

Rick has terrible timing and always tries to get a block with his terrible timing and doesn’t play good post D.

Will Johnston is not a d1 guard he’s a terrible lead guard, defensively and offensively

Kelli is not Kelli of years past

Lamaj is athletic but has 0 offensive game besides the occasional bucket at the rim

Justin wright is solid but makes boneheaded plays over and over and over again

Michael graham hustles and tries hard but is offensively limited

Alex works hard and is decent but not good enough to be a D1 starter.
He’s a solid D1 player

We deserve to have a worse record, we’re not a good team. That is my conclusion

I was hoping with Alex returning that maybe we’d have a fighting chance tonight. We cut it to five with an amazing sequence of offensive rebounds and great hustle, by Keli especially, but we’ve done zero since…13-2 run since that sequence.

We’re the only team in the nation that brings Down the shot clock to less than 8 seconds before we start to scramble and throw up a prayer with the shot clock buzzer going off. We play defense on ourselves and help our opponents.

My local 24 hour fitness basketball runs have better offensive schemes and ball movement. What a complete joke.
