Honestly this is unbelievable. It was 34–24 with just under four minutes in the first half. We’ve been outscored 30–7 in 8 1/2 minutes.
It’s one thing to lose, it’s another thing to be embarrassed and I hate to say that right now we’re just being embarrassed. Hopefully we step up the last 15 minutes and don’t completely roll over. I’d like to think we will step up.
And like I said before we really need Harris to get going. Maybe let him bring the ball up, something just to give him some action and confidence.

Absolutely embarrassing, and a horrible start so far to the 2nd half. Not sure why Coach has Will out there. He looks like he’s over his head, and can’t match the athleticism of Zag athletes. Seems like Coach is trying to make Will happen, and like fetch, it’s not gonna happen. Our bigs are also non-existent, and our rotations are atrocious. I’m trying to be positive, but this is just bad.

we were never going to win this, counts for 1 loss no matter how much we lose by.
But there’s no getting around it.. we are getting embarrassed on national television. Announcers are ripping us left and right. Not a fun night to be an lmu fan/alum

Bulldogs shooting 70% and Will is out there handing them the ball.
Obviously we are better than this. Just wish the St. Mary’s performance carried to this. Instead our guards put grease on their own hands every timeout.

I think Coach Romar must be lurking on the Lions’ bench. LMU is certainly playing like it. The Zags have some really good players but they don’t have to show off what they can do - the Lions are just handing them the ball. And their defense is simply non-existent. This is a miserable showing. The players deserve heavy criticism but so does the coaching staff. I really wonder what they do in team practice sessions.

To win at Spokane you simply need to have "The Guy" the team looks to in clutch moments and to stop opposing runs. The guy who is not afraid. Shelton was that for us last year, we were hoping Harris would be that guy for us this year, but the reality is he isn't.
Shelton had an ok first season with us, then exploded the following season. Hopefully Harris is that for us next season.

Sheldon had a lot of versatility on offense. Harris does not. Harris has tremendous athleticism. He can jump out of the gym. He’s quick. He’s an excellent set shooter. BUT you can’t trust him for more than two dribbles. His body goes a lot faster than he can control so he’s constantly over-extended. Which leads to turnovers. He does not shoot well on the move. He HAS to have help getting open. IF Coach Stan would develop some plays that set screens for Harris to get open set looks, he’d shoot double digits every game.
I like the guy. I really do. But the coaching staff has got to help him overcome his deficiencies.

Needless to say, Few wasn’t going to let us repeat last year’s upset.
Glad Harris got going.
We actually had five guys in double figures. And those were our only five that scored.
Like someone else said, it is just one loss. Can’t let it crush our confidence.
Good time to have eight days off.
And hope Keli is ok.
Go Lions.

Nbd - you’re going to have a field day with this one! Im sure it doesn't surprise anybody here that I turned the game off after the first half to go enjoy time with my family. Doctore says I need to help reduce my blood pressure levels. What a terrible terrible game.

Nbd - you’re going to have a field day with this one! Im sure it doesn't surprise anybody here that I turned the game off after the first half to go enjoy time with my family. Doctore says I need to help reduce my blood pressure levels. What a terrible terrible game. I lasted part way into the second half, hoping the Lions might regroup. Alas, it only got worse. The Lions’ defense flat out disappeared. It looked like one of those practices where you want to stress offense so you tell your defensive guys to just sorta play defense. I quit when the Zags’ shooting percentage hit 75%. There was NOTHING to celebrate in this game. The only reason we had 5 guys reach double figures was because Coach Few emptied his bench. The Zags lack depth this year and Coach Few seldom looks to his bench. Yet last night the bench saw 30% of the game time. Shoot, even his son who seldom sees the light of day got PT.
