This coaching staff is getting me pumped up. I feel like we can compete for the title every year with Bayno behind the helm.

I'm surprised that Bayno didn't hire Maz Trakh as an assistant. Trakh is the brother of Mark Trakh the WBB coach at USC.

Looks like we are still recruiting Max Good. Check out these interesting comments from Fox Sports community.foxsports.com/blogs/goodmanonfoxRANDOM NOTES: O regon wing Drew Viney will transfer to Loyola Marymount. … Bryant University head coach Max Good has a loaded schedule in the program’s first season in the D-1 ranks: He’ll go on the road and play UConn, Boston College, Providence, Iowa, Maryland and Rutgers. Good is 131-86 in seven years at Bryant and is also known for his success in the prep ranks, where he was 270-25 in a decade at Maine Central Institute. Good is being pursued by Loyola Marymount coach Bill Bayno for an assistant job on the west coast and he’ll take a trip out to California before he makes a decision. … Former Loyola Marymount assistant Brian Priebe is headed to Montana State. Looks like he would be a great addition to our staff if Bayno can get him and another huge sign of LMU committing to the program (he can't be cheap).

It is VERY expensive for an assistant coach to come to LA from other parts of the country.

Just fyi....for those interested.
I have confirmed through a source within the university administration that Jason Levy has been elevated to the First Assistant Coach position. Initially, Jason was slotted as Second Assistant Coach with the intention of Max Good from Bryant University to assume the First Assistant role. With the later not being the case, Jason has assumed the First Assistant. Michael Scholl is the 3rd Assistant Coach.
Remaining positions for Bayno to fill is Second Assistant and Director of Basketball Operations.

Not sure where you are getting your info rebelfan, but I sure hope I am wrong. Not to mention the LMU Administration Directory.... Click on the below url and then search "Levy".....Jason has been elevated to 1st Assistant Coach. apps.lmu.edu/Directory/Default.aspxAnd no, this is not old or out dated....This is one thing that LMU does keep updated....Tention, Byrd, Wachs, Williams, etc. are still on this listing because they are still getting paid by the university. I sure wish this was wrong. Max would be a good addition to the team. Unfortunately, this directory is input from the employment contracts for faculty, professors, coaches, and staff. Let's hope the directory and a source within the administration is wrong. Pleaseee....I hope Good joins the Bayno Birgade!

I trust the info, it's as solid as a source can be.
Don't know what position he'll be, but he'll be.
Maybe Good will get the title of Associate Head Coach? Don't know. Some staffs will do that.

According to a source within Byrant University Athletic Department (just confirmed moments ago), Max Good remains the Head Coach of the Men's Basketball team. I don't see how a formal announcement can be made by LMU today or tomorrow, if Byrant has not been notified by Good about accepting an LMU coaching opportunity. Let's hope your source is a GOOD source and correct, rebelfan.
