I read about Ben-Eze earlier. His also torn his ACL which means he will have to sit out at least a year. We need someone who can play right away.

Paul McCoy the one time Pepperdine commit has verballed to SMU. We were mentioned late, but we had only a small chance. He turned down Kentucky and Virgina to suit up for SMU...very interesting choice.

Thank you ironlions. Hopefully we'll hear some good news soon after Teel visits, btw the weather is supposed to be very nice ;D. I wonder if Viney is still debating about SDSU and USD. Can you imagine if all 4 were on their way (plus a few others we do not know about). Wow. I'm looking forward to seeing what Bayno can do in sort of short notice coming into town after the regular season and late signing period.
McCoy would have been nice even if only the karmic revenge angle against Pepperdine after the SHAMsud incident. SMU though? He must know something we don't know.

First Europe now Argentina, what sort of players is Bayno about. How on Earth did he hear about these guys? Loyolan said he was out of the country. I guess we'll just have to wait until someone can finally start naming names. I don't mind an international team as long as these are some real bangers.

When are these guys going to sign? They have verbally committed but have not yet signed. There is a difference and in some cases players change their minds. Has the point not come yet where players can actually sign??
And one more thing,
Is there any word on any big men coming into the program?? While these players are awesome gets and I am looking forward to seeing them play in Gersten, we also need some athletic big men as well. But it is still early, Bayno just got the job, so I guess I can not be too greedy.

I agree. We have never gotten one 4 star recruit ever before this year and in Bayno's one month on the job he has already brought in two four star recruits!
