To be honest I can't think of that many players that have left LMU on their own accord. The only names I can think of are Andy Osborn...I believe because he didn't get along with any of his team mates. Also Vitor Boccardo because he was lousy and didn't get any PT.

Please do not spread rumors that you do not know anything about especially when it is about a kids future. There is no new news to report about Wright. As of now he is committed. To say anything else is speculation and I'd like to see it phrased that way instead of truth.

You think Portland and USF will be bringing up the rear? Have you seen LMU's roster? Pepp's? Or what is left of it?
And the worst gyms are USF, SMC and Portland? Portland's Chiles Center is a great facility. The worst are LMU and Pepp. SMC is pretty bad and USF is probably a notch above those 3.

thank you... and what is your guys' opinion on wendell wright? HOw many minutes do we envision him getting? Let's just say, I think Bayno has other ideas based on comments made in the Founder's Room on April 9, 2008. Since you were able to post that comments were made, maybe you should post the comments. For one, Wendell has an offer that LMU has to honor, at least for the first year. Also, I would be curious what these comment were and if they had any relation to Kwame. Nothing worse than a coach being two-faced. Kwame and Wendell were supposed to room together, as planned by the previous staff. As far as the European, there was a recent Hoop Summit in the Blazers arena. Maybe someone there caught his eye. I don't know any names, just that he was supposed to be in Europe recruiting someone. |

Hey Lions fans... hope all is well in the nascent Bayno era. Sounds like he went out recruiting right away, which is great! Anyway, Styles mentioned UP and their seeming lack of recruiting... they did just sign TJ Campbell, a JC point guard from Arizona: www.portlandpilots.com/sports/mbball/release.asp?release_id=4936And I think they are focusing on some local kids for the 2009 class. Anyway, I was surprised styles mentioned UP's gym as one of the worst... I haven't been to most of the WCC gyms, but from everything I hear, the Chiles Center is definitely top 3 or 4. Not really sure where he was getting that from. |

Upstonehouse...not sure he got that info either. Portand has a great gym...in the top three in the WCC for sure.

Thanks, ironlions... we'll see how Campbell works out. I'm definitely glad to have a true PG to back up (or even start over?) Ito and allow Raivio and Stohl to play SG, since neither of them can really play the point. Still, his height is a bit of a concern... 5'9". But hey - I'm definitely happy to have him aboard! And our gym may be OK, but considering the temperatures have been in the 40's over the past month and a half... well... I think if I were a recruit, I would definitely be enjoying that LA sunshine!  |

Did he sign or just visit? What's the status and who's next to visit and possible sign? We have a very short time to get kids as all the other programs have had a jump because the lack of a Coach on board until April. I hope we have a lot more. Can someone clear up ironlions post. Did he sign and who's coming in next?
