Okay,
Now what about OJ before we move on to more recruits. I think he needs to be a priority in ensuring he's not leaving. Any word? Did Banyo use his skill to get him not to go. According to everyone I talked to he signed his release papers, how do we get it reversed? That booster and alum pressure needs to come if that's true, he should not be leaving. Imagine in two years JR Davis on one Wing and JR OJ on the other with a good point guard and whatever Big Men Banyo brings in. Thats got to sound good. So ironlions do your thing, put the pressure to ensure OJ doesn't leave. I beleive in your letter writing. If he goes I hope Husak goes too because we should not lose OJ.

OJ is a great player...and I really hope he stays with the Lions. I'm not sure if he is staying or going. Everything up to now sounds like rumors. I would be very surprised if he leaves because he is walking away from a lot. An excellent university, a program on the rise, and a "players" coach with a knack to developing individual skills. If he does leave it gives us one more scholarship to fill with a top level Bayno recruit.
Go Lions.

i hope Bayno decides to keep Wendell Wrights commitment. If Tention was still coach he would been seen as one of the bigger commitments in awhile. Hes a 3 star prospect and scout says good things about him. Long and lean wing. Effective when slashing, but jumpshot is developing. Potential mid to high major prospect. ucla.scout.com/a.z?s=12&p=8&c=1&nid=2648721

There is no signing date for transfers. It is official when he enrolls in school.

as many good things are said about Wright by the recruiting services, I am skeptical just for the mere fact that Mayfair (his high school) did not even make playoffs this year. Usually in high school basketball, and in Mayfairs division, one very good player alone will take a team at least to the playoffs. And he did not even qualify.

I believe Wendell was injured a large portion of the season. It will be interesting to see how things turn out when Coach Bayno has had a chance to asses his talent and potential.

Bayno may try and convince him that his role may change, but if Wright wants to stick for the year he can. Does anyone have video on him?
