It is due to cost of living in the Bay Area than Florida. It's about the same deal he just upgraded to WIC.

I am really shocked that FAU was paying Walters that little. Now it makes sense why they cannot keep a coach more than 2 seasons. Believe it or not the cost of living for the area around that school is really high. It is located in Boca Raton a wealthy oceanside suburb about 30 miles north of Miami. A mix between Beverly Hills and Laguna Beach. $160K would not go far there . $350K should buy him a lot more rice o roni.
