I talked to one of the current leaders of Roar from this year, and he told me that some current juniors were already in place to take over the duties of leading Roar for next year. I know I will be drunk and screaming at every game next year.

Good, ROAR has been outstanding these past seasons even during the times when we struggled. Should be a lot to cheer about these coming seasons! and drink to

That's good to hear that the ROAR is still up and kicking. The ROAR was most certainly one of the best parts of my undergraduate career. TRIVIA QUESTION: You probably notice that ROAR is always captilaized...so what do the letters stand for?

Lmu2008 is correct. During the first year ('03-'04) of the ROAR founders would always capitalize it on flyers, mainly just to draw attention to the name and from there even the athletic dept. began capitalizing it. I once saw a letter from judicial affairs describing an incident in which two ROAR members got in a little trouble, and the letter must have had ROAR written in all caps about 15 times. Funny stuff. Anyway, that wasn't the best trivia question...

I think ROAR stands for calling Paul Westphal's hotel room at the WCC tournament in the middle of the night before Pepperdine was playing in the semi finals...or so I heard ...
