haha we didnt get him just yet duke
but he would be a huge get because a good point guard is essential. Even if hes just a guard who can score and handle the ball that will be a upgrade over this year. I think I am most excited about this possible commit because he can come in and play next year!

I would say that essential doesn't even come close to describing the need at PG. With a younger team, that position is crucial to settle everyone down. I was hoping SD3 would have been used more in that capacity this past season, since QT's ball handling was an achilles' heel for us.

Louisiana Tech just got a guard out of Kentucky, Arrez Henderson. That should take them out of the running for Teel. I guess its up between LMU, Ok State and Kentucky.

Always good to see our odds improve. Teel didn't seem that into LT but I'd sleep much easier knowing he's transferring to LMU. He could be the type of impact player that could do us good right about now.

According to the article that talks about Vernon Teel's interest with LMU he is going to be coming on his Official Visit tomorrow. Hopeful he likes what he sees and pulls the trigger.

Teel's friendship with Davis, his exisiting previous releationship with Coach Bayno really makes me think he will commit.

not too much in the convo just welcomed him to LMU and tried to tell him about how awesome the ROAR is here!!! didn't wanna scare him. but I did talk to powers at be afterwords and they said that they were close closing the deal!
