I wish them all the best!

Well, I assume that Bayno would have cut nearly everyone if he thought he could find enough players to reload in time. However, he might as well keep Deric for one more year and his scholarship will be freed up. I assume he keeps some of the others and pulls scholarships next year when he has a year to search for talent and reload.
Glad to see Bayno stuck by his word and has revamped this RT ridden team. I think Sutton, with development assistance from Bayno, could break out by season year. He has the frame to do something good for this team. I just hope the desire is there.

One positive I saw in that article is that is says that Coach Bayno is currently out of the country. Hopefully he will bring back with him a verbal of some great foreign player.
I am very impressed that LMU funding Bayno with all of these recruiting trips. I convinced more and more each day that this university is committed to winning.

Bayno= Bull Sh...er. When he first got her he talked about "family" and "second chances". Since he's been here so much for that BS. He has basically run off the majority of the team in favor of supposedly better players. The majority of these guys LOVE LMU and would love to stay and GET BETTER. However this son of a gun is giving them NO CHANCE and is running them off. Has he ever seen any of these guys play in person? Has he ever worked them out? What about their character? At this point in time, HOW MANY guys out there in the '08 class are actually BETTER than these players he is running off? This whole deal makes me sick to my stomach. How many coaches are run off after 3 years like Rodney was? At least Rodney has some class. Bad, bad, KARMA. Bayno, don't forget, what goes around comes around.

Any coach we would have hired would have boosted a majority of our players. When Aggers took over only 4 of 12 players on the roster remain. LMU is D1 program not a YMCA club team. Get off your soap box and join the rest of the Lions fans that are beyond excited about LMU basketball.

How many did Rodney run off? He's never even seen these guys play. If he's such a great coach, maybe he could help develop them. How many of these new players are going to be eligible? If they are transfers they have to sit out a year. Don't talk to me about a soapbox and YMCA. These are still kids and not the frickin NBA.

Well Rodney didn't have to run off many because actually got great players from Aggers....three first team WCCers, a defensive player of the year. In terms of incoming eligibility I believe we will have around three transfers and the rest player who can suit up right away. I'm presume you have a close tie to a player being released...I'm sorry of this and wish them the best.
Go Lions.

Bayno better know what he's doing.
OJ--future 1st team WCC. Brandon Walker--Sherman Gay II Sweezy--Showed flashes late in the season. Mason-Probably would've developed into a Dustin Brown-type player.
Husak better hold his ground about not accepting Prop 48/marginal JC transfers, bc I can see that's where Bayno might be looking.

So you guys are saying we should keep what we have and not except tranfers from the Big East and Pac 10?

I think I know why OJ left it isn't because Bayno wanted him to go. He was very loyal to Tention and 2 other players on the team there were but needed to be released.
Speculation from me, no source cause I know one of the guys who was released.

His PT was probably in danger because Bayno is after more talented scouting guards. He's got enough talent where he'd be better starting somewhere else. Best of luck to him. Without his hussle this year we'd have been much worse off, hard to imagine, I know.
