I talked to Drew Viney directly and he said he is coming to LMU!!!
I said he is going to turn aroung the program and he responded
"yah haha not me man, coach bayno is gonna do some pretty big things...hes just gonna get me to the level to turn the program around"

yesssssssss huge get haha gathers and i were studying for finals in the library when we decided to take a break and check facebook. Viney was on and we messaged him and hes coming! I cannnot wait till bball season next year.  |

Obviously a huge get. One thing:
I'm not sure posting facebook/im chats on a public message board is the best thing for everyone. I'm no ncaa expert, but when just about giving a potential recruit tp to wipe his ass is a potential violation, we need to be wary of this.
Again, no wet blanket, I'm geeked, but maybe someone with more knowledge than myself can set things straight.

Thanks lmutex, you are absolutely right about the ncaa.  I called and confirmed with the compliance director and this particular incident is not a violation. But it is always better to be safe than sorry. Anyone who posts here is under special scrutiny because we automatically become considered a "Representative of Athletics Interests." |

hes a transfer
they do not sign a LOI
we will know for sure that he is going here when he is enrolled for his first day of classes at LMU
